AT MEERSENHUIS

Artist Adrien Tirtiaux brings the old and forgotten connecting road between the Sint-Janshospitaal and the Minnewaterliniek back to life for Triënnale Brugge with his work ‘Under the Carpet’.

To revive stories about the neighbourhood, we invited many (former) residents and former employees of the Sint-Janshospitaal and the Minnewaterkliniek to reminisce together.

It turned out to be a very pleasant evening with lots of striking anecdotes among old and new friends. Footage was also shot for a short documentary on Tirtiaux's work ‘Under the Carpet’.
