Anyone who has to build a new life in another country starts from scratch. You cross a few (national) borders and suddenly everyone focuses on what you don't have or know: the language, the culture, the papers. RefuInterim experiences every day that people who are new in Belgium bring a lot of valuable things with them: enthusiasm, courage, resilience, perseverance...

During FrontExpo, 15 participants put their artistic talent (literally) in the forefront. They are all artists who also happen to be refugees, newcomers or non-native speakers. Through volunteering at RefuInterim, they get to know the language and their new city. Now it's time for the public to discover their other talents too.

We talked to some of them about their commitments, their life stories and their art.
