11 SEPTEMBER - 24 OCTOBER

Aurelie Zeebroek

FROM A TO B

While we at Bruges 2030 anxiously await October 24 to hear if we move on to the next round, Aurelie Zeebroek provides us with laughs and giggles. With her unique view of Bruges, Aurelie takes you along on her walks around the city. From point A to point B and from Aurelie to Bruges. (This column is in Dutch.)

“I am Aurelie Zeebroek, columnist, creative and, to my own surprise, a Bruges native. Anyone who has been to Bruges knows that there is no metro or tram here. I don't cycle because of an excess of cobblestones in the city. So I soon discovered that walking is the perfect mode of transportation, especially for someone like me who likes to observe everything.

During my daily marathons, I get very close to people and their different worlds. I prefer to take pictures of everything with my old iPhone that provides cloudy images. With these images, I make up stories to share with you. Follow me and dive into the soul of Bruges, welcome to my week.”
